Who knew street people had it so good?


This summer Toronto will conduct a homeless assessment, part of which will evaluate the impact of panhandling on local businesses. Critics fear the results will be used to bolster calls from councillors to restrict panhandling, the most vocal of whom is Gloria Lindsay Luby. She told media in May that some people choose the streets to enjoy a “tax-free” lifestyle. Like, that’s so not fair.
