Almost famous

They’re still working on their stage presence and building their fan base, but Winnipeg indie pop gang All of Your Friends are like a band on fastforward, getting airtime and opening slots with big name bands before even nailing down their live show.
The six-piece “sociopop collective” gave home demos to the University of Manitoba station UMFM and got airtime the same week as their first-ever show back in June of 2006. “It’s kind of funny because we have songs on the radio that shouldn’t be,” says Dana Moore, one of the band’s vocalists.
Well-established groups such as the Hidden Cameras and Tokyo Police Club have asked them to play as openers.
For now the group’s members are finishing their first full-length record in their living room, recording and mixing it themselves, and will be touring Western Canada in the late spring.
